Storyboard

Storyboard

I've chosen to do my storyboard with sticky notes as it makes it easy to move and put more scenes in if necessary. I've colour-coded who's going to be in each scene with blue being scenes with only Vanessa in, and pink being scenes with Anna being in (with Vanessa), this makes it easier to be efficient with filming. On each sticky note I've put the lyrics, with the shot type and what is planned to happen in each scene, as well as who's involved.

Target Audience Research Survey

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/RVXG7YH

In this survey I've asked a series of questions to find out who my target audience are, and what they enjoy, and expect from a music video.

Website Plan

Website Plan

I've tried to make my design for the website as clear as possible. I've done this by making the text clear and bold and large, making it obvious where everything is on the website, as it can be hard to find what you want on some websites.

I've kept the colour scheme to black and white, mimicking the colours in the indie genres, and what some indie websites use, which I found out through my website analysis.

I've put the digipak in the middle as many websites, despite the genre do this, and in doing this it shows what a real indie musicians website would look like. The arrows at the side also copy what the CD on the digipak looks like, which links the two together and creates a theme for the artist making it obvious that it's her work.

Digipak Plan

Digipak Plan

I've chosen to make my digipak black and white as this represents many of digipaks in the indie genre. Also black and white is common colours in indie, as discovered from doing mood boards on the genre and target audience.

I'm using bold text to make it bright and show the artist and the name of the digipak clearly. Digipaks that aren't clear can be confusing and not look good. I'm using white text to make it stand out over the black background.

The background of every image is in the same location to give the impression of continuity and also the scenery matches the name of the album, with it being dark and Vanessa looking determined.
